Tribune’s Best: Vote for SLO County’s top athlete from April 26-May 1
Another week of spring sports is in the books with 16 student-athletes to choose from for your April 25-May 1 player of the week in San Luis Obispo County.
Last week’s top vote-getter was Arroyo Grande baseball player Josiah Cabreros, who collected 33,735 votes (36%). Cabreros was trailed by Hogan Benson, a San Luis Obispo High baseball player with 27,401 votes (29%) and Maris McEwen, an Atascadero softball player (18,500 votes or 20%).
The poll covered April 18-24.
Remember, this is a fun, unscientific poll, and you may vote as many times as you wish to support your selection for The Tribune’s Athlete of the Week.

Coaches, parents or students may nominate an athlete for next week’s prep poll consideration by emailing nwilson@thetribunenews.com and providing game stats for your nominee (full player name, stats and result of game, meet or match).
