Tribune’s Best: Vote for SLO County’s top athlete from March 14-20

Another week of spring sports is in the books, and it’s time to vote again on your San Luis Obispo County high school Athlete of the Week.

This week’s poll covers competition from March 14-20.

Last week’s top vote-getter was Arroyo Grande softball player Savannah Bravo, who collected 169,776 votes (48%). Bravo narrowly edged Josh Caw-it, of Nipomo volleyball, who received 159,009 votes (45%).

Malia Maire, of SLO High swim and dive, finished in third with 17,203 votes, or 5%.

Remember, this is a fun, unscientific poll, and you may vote as many times as you wish to support your selection for The Tribune’s Athlete of the Week.

The poll closes at midnight on Sunday. To vote again, hit refresh.

Coaches, parents or students may nominate an athlete for next week’s prep poll consideration by emailing nwilson@thetribunenews.com and providing game stats for your nominee (full player name, stats and result of game, meet or match).

Please write “Athlete of the Week nominee” in the subject line.

Have fun voting, and good luck!
