‘Vanderpump Rules’ just visited SLO County. Here’s where reality TV show filmed
The stars of the popular Bravo reality TV show “Vanderpump Rules” hit the road in a recent episode — a road that took them right through San Luis Obispo County.
A new episode of the long-running show, titled “Paso Aggressive,” dropped Wednesday, showing the cast — who ostensibly work for former “Real Housewife of Beverly Hills” cast member Lisa Vanderpump at her West Hollywood restaurant, SUR — as they journeyed to Paso Robles for a “Women in Wine” event.
The usual expected shenanigans ensue, including a road trip conversation that will probably send locals’ eyes rolling.
At one point during the ride, Audrey Lingle tells the rest of the car, “on the way to Paso, there’s this hotel called the Madonna Inn” as they are discussing where to take a food break.
“Is that supposed to be, like, the actor ... or wait, the singer, Madonna?” Jason Cohen asks.
Name confusion aside, the episode goes on to show the crew stopping in for a meal at the kitschy hotel’s signature pink restaurant, with one person declaring it was “like the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ tea party.” (And yes, they do stop and tour the hotel’s infamous restrooms and at least one of its themed rooms.)
They then travel up the road to Paso Robles, where they stay in a massive vacation rental ahead of the Women in Wine event.
Ahead of the episode’s release, several cast members shared some behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the trip on social media.
“Watch us take over wine country tonight on Bravo!” Marcus Johnson wrote in an Instagram post Wednesday, alongside photos of the group outside the Madonna Inn and wandering Farmers Market in downtown SLO.
Venus Binkley shared more photos, showing the cast inside the Madonna Inn, as well as their Paso Robles vacation rental.
“Let’s get this cast trip started tonight,” Binkley wrote. “These next three episodes are my absolute favorite of the season. It’s juicy, sexy, naughty, sad, wild, fun, climactic, sweet, psychotic, and everything in between.”
