Grammy-nominated artist Tori Amos to perform in SLO County. How to get tickets
Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Tori Amos is set to perform at the Vina Robles amphitheater in Paso Robles this summer.
Amos’ Aug. 28 performance in San Luis Obispo County will follow the release of her new album, “In Times of Dragons,” on May 1, according to a news release.
Famous for songs like “Cornflake Girl” and “Silent All These Years,” Amos’ career gained traction in the ‘90s with her album “Little Earthquakes,” according to her Spotify profile.
Amos was also nominated for a Grammy for the soundtrack to her 2025 children’s book, “Tori and the Muses,” the release said.
Her new album is set to reflect the political climate and tell stories about a freedom-seeking journey, the release said.
“In Times of Dragons is a metaphorical story about the fight for Democracy over Tyranny, reflecting the current abhorrent non-accidental burning down of democracy in real time by the ‘Dictator believing Lizard Demons’ in their usurpation of America,” Amos said in the release.
Tickets for Amos’ Aug. 28 concert at Vina Robles were available starting at 10 a.m. Friday, via Ticketmaster. Tickets ranged from $77 to $136, according to the site.
