Fatal crash shuts down Highway 101
UPDATE: Grover Beach pedestrian killed on Highway 101
A fatal crash shut down both lanes of northbound Highway 101 near the Higuera Street off-ramp, CHP reported.
The crash occurred about 4:30 a.m. Monday, and officials shut down the highway to investigate.
One lane had reopened by 6:30 a.m., and CHP reported the roadway open by 7 a.m.
The cause and identity of the victim has not been released.
