Tribune’s Best: Vote for SLO County’s top athlete from May 2-8

With lots of sports action countywide, several athletes are shining bright. Here’s a chance to select your pick from 14 nominees for Tribune athlete of the week from May 2-8.

Last week’s winner was Arroyo Grande volleyball player Josh McCune, who garnered 31,832 votes, or 62% of the poll.

Runners-up were Melania Ruelas, of Nipomo softball, with 8,231 votes, or 16%, and Arroyo Grande baseball player Marc Byrum, with 7,772 or 15% of the tally.

This is a fun, unscientific poll, and you may vote as many times as you wish to support your selection for The Tribune’s Athlete of the Week.
