Who was SLO County’s top high school football player in Week 9? Vote here

This week marks the last games of San Luis Obispo County high school football’s regular season, and four teams have league championships on the line — Arroyo Grande, Paso Robles, Mission Prep and San Luis Obispo.

But before we get there, take a moment to vote on your top perfromer for Week 9 from last week’s matchups.

After Week 8 games, San Luis Obispo High’s freshman quarterback Jace Gomes snagged the top spot with 3,079 votes, making up 61% of the total.

Paso Robles’ Bastiaan Jaureguy took 1,818 votes, or 36% of the total, in the second-place slot.

This week’s group includes 14 players from around the county who had standout performances.

You may hit refresh and vote as many times as you wish to help your pick in Week 9 to the top position. This is not a scientific poll.

Also, each week you may nominate a player by sending an email to nwilson@thetribunenews.com.

Remember, the weekly poll closes at 2 p.m. Friday, so get your votes in.

Good luck to all in the Week 10 season finale!
