As the final stretch of the regular season in San Luis Obispo County high school football winds down, Week 8 saw a number of big wins for SLO County teams and eye-popping performances on the field.
In the latest reader poll, you can choose from 13 players who turned in big games.
In the biggest winning total yet, Paso Robles running back Leo Kemp took the No. 1 spot for Week 7, earning 15,761 votes. Morro Bay’s Shawn Shaffer was the second-place finisher, with 7,286 votes.
The poll is a way to spotlight local football talent and give fans a chance to show their support.
Participants are welcome to vote as many times as they like to boost their top pick’s chances.
