SLO County spot received nearly 5 inches of rain in latest storm. See the totals
Another strong storm system soaked San Luis Obispo County over the weekend, bringing several inches of rain to many local spots.
The rainy weekend caused a power outage, a mudslide on Highway 41 and flooding on a few roadways.
County locations received anywhere from a 0.06 of an inch to nearly 5 inches of rain during the 72-hour period ending at 12:10 a.m. Monday, according to data from the National Weather Service.
Rocky Butte, a location in the mountains northeast of Cambria that often tops the county in terms of rainfall, led the way with 4.89 inches.
The San Luis Obispo area received between 1.60 and 2.57 inches of rain, while the South County topped out at around 1.93 inches in the Lopez Lake area. The North County ranged between 0.67 inches in Paso Robles and 3.49 inches in west Santa Margarita.

What’s ahead in SLO County’s forecast?
More rain is expected in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles on Monday and Tuesday with a 30% chance of precipitation both days, according to the National Weather Service.
Rainfall totals will amount to less than a tenth of an inch of rain each day, the weather agency said.
Clear conditions will return to the county starting Tuesday afternoon. The sunny weather will continue through the rest of the week with high temperatures in the upper 60s in San Luis Obispo and in the high 50s in Paso Robles, according to the forecast.
