Video shows man stealing bikes out of truck parked in SLO. Do you know him?

A man was caught on camera stealing two bikes out of a parked truck in San Luis Obispo — and now police asked the public for help finding him.

At around 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 23, a man was captured on camera stealing two bicycles from a gray pickup truck in a parking lot in the 1100 block of Santa Rosa Street, the San Luis Obispo Police Department said in a social media post.

The person cut the cable lock and placed the two bikes in his white Dodge truck before fleeing the scene, police said. The license plate on the white truck was not visible.

Police ask anyone with information about the suspect to call 805-594-8061 and reference case #241123034.
