Santa Maria police search for robbers, victim held at gunpoint

The Santa Maria Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying two unidentified people who robbed a person at gunpoint.

The crime took place in the 400 block of W. Alvin Avenue on July 13, according to a Santa Maria Police Department news release.

The identity of the robbers and the victim is unknown at this time, police said, noting that all three people fled the scene before officers arrived.

Police have a photo of one of the suspected robbers.

The Santa Maria Police Department asks anyone with information on who the victim or robbers are to contact Detective Dix at 805-928-3781, extension 242.
