Human foot found near Templeton, SLO County sheriff says
San Luis Obispo County Sheriff deputies are investigating a human foot that was found Sunday in rural Templeton, according to a news release.
A bicyclist reported finding the foot near Santa Rita Road, the release said. Detectives are not sharing the exact location of where the foot was discovered due to the ongoing investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office said that although the remains are “suspicious in nature,” it is too early to determine if foul play was involved.
The Coroner’s Office and detectives from the Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit are conducting an analysis of the human body part.
No further information is available at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
