A sinkhole temporarily slowed traffic along a portion of Highway 101 in Nipomo on Monday morning.

On Monday at 9:19 a.m., a traffic break on Highway 101 northbound from Tefft Street was created as workers tried to fill a sinkhole near the Willow Road off-ramp, according to the CHP’s traffic incident page.

At 9:43 a.m., the CHP fully closed the Willow Road off-ramp.

While the off-ramp was closed, CHP officers were also weeding and trimming overgrown trees.
