Person trapped under rolled tractor at SLO County winery, Cal Fire says
One person was trapped underneath a backhoe at a San Luis Obispo County winery Friday afternoon.
The tractor rollover was reported at 3435 Truesdale Road in Shandon around 2:46 p.m., according to Cal Fire spokesperson Eva Grady.
As of 5:06 p.m., responders were still at the scene attempting to extricate the patient, Grady said.
The incident sparked a multi-agency response, Grady said.
Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Tony Cipolla confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that one person died in the incident.
