A deceased person was found in a San Luis Obispo homeless encampment on Thursday.

According to a San Luis Obispo Police Department post on X, police were notified Thursday afternoon of a deceased person at an encampment near the creek at Los Osos Valley Road and Calle Joaquin.

The Police Department and San Luis Obispo County Sheriff-Coroner’s Officer were investigating the incident as of Thursday evening.
