1 dead after car crashes into tree near SLO County border
A person was killed when a truck crashed into a tree near the San Luis Obispo County line on Thursday afternoon.
A gray pickup truck drove off the road and crashed into a large oak tree near the intersection of Vineyard Canyon Road and Indian Valley Road at about 3:50 p.m., the California Highway Patrol traffic log said.
One person was killed in the crash, CHP spokesperson officer Ryan Armstrong told The Tribune on Thursday evening.
CHP officers were still on the scene of the crash at 4:30 p.m.
The CHP did not have any other information to share at that time.
