The Tribune is renewing its efforts to cover health issues in San Luis Obispo County, and those efforts start with you, our readers.

We want to bring you coverage that looks at the most important health and healthcare-related issues in San Luis Obispo County, starting with stories that examine the county’s healthcare shortage.

It’s well known that San Luis Obispo County faces a serious lack of health options, be that for individual primary care options, senior care or specialty care.

Our renewed focus on health will look to report on some of those issues — but first we want to hear from our community on the issues that they care about most.

Check out The Tribune’s new Health Coverage Survey to give us feedback on our existing coverage of health issues or to give us new ideas of how we can do this work even better fro our community.

To contact Tribune health and housing reporter Joan Lynch for more information, please feel free to reach out at 805-781-7812 or jlynch@thetribunenews.com.
