Thousands lose power in SLO County in 3 separate outages

More than 2,000 PG&E customers in San Luis Obispo County were without electricity Saturday morning due to multiple power outages.

A planned power outage was expected for northern SLO County, and 557 PG&E customers lost power in the public safety outage watch, according to PG&E’s Outage Center website.

Power was expected to be restored at 10:30 a.m., according to the utility company.

Meanwhile, 1,505 customers lost power in Arroyo Grande at 8:45 a.m. with power expected to be restored at 2 p.m. Saturday, according to PG&E’s Outage Center website.

And in Los Osos, 379 customers lost power in an unplanned outage at 8:23 a.m., according to the utility company. It was the same area that lost power Friday night. Power was expected to be restored at 1:30 p.m.

By midday, power had been restored to nearly all of the affected customers across the outages.
