3-vehicle crash on Hwy. 101 blocks traffic during rush hour in SLO
A three-vehicle crash blocked traffic on Highway 101 through San Luis Obispo on Wednesday, slowing the evening commute, the California Highway Patrol said.
A gray Toyota Sienna, a black SUV and a blue pickup truck crashed at about 4:52 p.m. on northbound Highway 101 near the Madonna Road off-ramp, the CHP traffic log said.
Emergency responders shut down the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of northbound Highway 101 to respond to the crash. Traffic passed through the area on the off-ramp, the CHP said.
The CHP did not know whether the crash resulted in injuries as of 5:15 p.m.
A Caltrans highway camera showed traffic slowed to a crawl through the area.
