Watch out, drivers: Multi-car pileup stops traffic on Highway 101 through SLO
A multi-car pileup on the Madonna Road off-ramp was slowing southbound traffic on Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo on Friday afternoon.
According to a California Highway Patrol post on X, six vehicles appear to have been involved in the crash and were blocking the left lane of the off-ramp.
The crash was reported at 3:19 p.m., according to CHP’s traffic incident report page.
No injuries were reported.
According to the CHP page, two of the vehicles were not able to be moved, though crews were expecting to have the lanes cleared shortly.
According to the Caltrans Quickmap, southbound traffic was at a standstill from Madonna Road to Loomis Street as of 3:50 p.m.
Northbound traffic meanwhile was also slow from Madonna Road to the Los Osos Valley Road exit.
