Nearly 800 SLO County customers lose power in unplanned outage, PG&E says

The power that went out for nearly 800 Pacific Gas & Electric customers in Cambria on Tuesday was restored as of 9:30 a.m.

According to PG&E’s outage map, the unplanned outage knocked out electricity for a total of 783 customers beginning at 7:12 a.m. in the neighborhoods near Lampton Cliffs County Park.

PG&E spokesperson Neil Hebert confirmed to The Tribune the power was restored around 9:30 a.m.

He said crews patrolled the area and determined the cause was “unknown.”
