A rollover crash at the Oceano Dunes on Friday morning sent the driver of an all-terrain vehicle to the hospital via helicopter, according to California State Parks.

At the time of the crash, the 27-year-old woman was driving a rental ATV at Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area near Pismo Beach, State Parks ranger Kevin Pearce said.

The woman was going about 20 mph at about 10:15 a.m. when she fell off a 20-foot slip face at mile marker 17 on the Sand Highway, Pearce said.

The woman had no visible injuries, but complained of pain, he said.

A CalStar helicopter then transported her to Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, according to Pearce.
