SLO County has some of the most expensive gas in the U.S., according to GasBuddy.com, due to location, real estate prices and traffic. Read more about the surge, and where to find the “cheapest” gas.


San Luis Obispo County continues to break records as gas prices skyrocket to one new all-time high after another.

In just the first week of March, SLO County had the most expensive gas in the entire United States, and stations began charging upwards of $6 for a gallon of regular gas.

We know this has a huge impact on many of your daily lives, so we want to hear what that is.

Are the rising costs forcing you to think of other forms of transportation? Are you going to ride the bus more, or get a bike? Are you considering buying an electric or hybrid vehicle?
