Hwy. 101 on- and off-ramps closed after traffic collision shears utility pole in SLO

A single-vehicle traffic collision has lead to a road closure on the southbound Highway 101 on- and off-ramps at Broad Street.

The California Highway Patrol was notified that a gray pickup truck crashed around 5:30 a.m., shearing a utility poll, according to the CHP traffic logs.

No injuries have been reported, the CHP logs.

Caltrans District 5 tweeted that the Broad Street freeway exit and entrance will be closed until the early afternoon.

Caltrans is asking that drivers use caution in the area.
