The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance has debuted a polished, new video “Where Wine Takes You” to showcase the “maverick spirit of Paso Robles.”

The two-minute video opens with a motorcyclist at sunrise and captures the rolling hills, lush vineyards and youthful energy behind winemaking in Paso Robles.

“Seeing Paso Robles wine country through this video highlights what makes this region so special,” Executive Director of the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance Joel Peterson said in a news release. “With so many incredible wineries, vineyards, and food and wine experiences to see, we wanted to create a showpiece for people to remember why they love Paso Wine Country.”

The video is a promotional tool that the Wine Country Alliance is using to drum up visibility and excitement for the Central Coast wine region, strategically located halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles and home to more than 250 vineyards, according to Paso Wine.

“Where Wine Takes You” is also the name of the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance podcast. The podcast releases new episodes every two weeks and is intended as an educational tool for winemakers and wine enthusiasts.

The podcast has 65 episodes to date and is hosted by Adam Montiel, who’s best known as the voice of Up and Adam in the Morning on Coast 104.5 and is also the host of the Cork Dorks radio show on Krush 92.5.

“This is where great wines are made, and where our people stand behind what they make. Because we are a community of youngbloods and old souls. Of mavericks and innovators and those fearless enough to imagine the future,” the video narrator says over visuals of winemakers, young and old.

“This means in Paso Robles wine country, you come as you are,” the video said.
