More shuttle stops added for Garth Brooks’ Mid-State Fair shows

Crowds are expected to be heavy at the California Mid-State Fair on Thursday, when Garth Brooks will play two sold-out shows.

But concertgoers are in luck: The Mid-State Fair will offer additional shuttle pickup locations, as well as an extra 36 shuttles, to handle the extra crowds.

Officials ask in particular that people planning to attend the second Garth Brooks concert, at 10:30 p.m., take a shuttle because parking near the fairgrounds is expected to be hard to find.

According to fair spokesman Tom Keffury, shuttle pickups will start at noon July 27. Buses will run until 4 a.m. July 28.

Here are the additional shuttle pickup locations:

▪ Springhill Suites, 900 El Camino Real, Atascadero.

▪ Paso Robles Municipal Airport, 4912 Wing Way, Paso Robles.

▪ Paso Robles Horse Park, 3801 Hughes Parkway, Paso Robles.

▪ Cuesta College North County Campus, 2800 Buena Vista Drive, Paso Robles.

Additionally, the Mid-State Fair has a designated Uber drop-off and pickup location at 19th Street and Riverside Avenue in Paso Robles.
