Paso Robles High’s Christian Erickson shows why he’s must-see TV in highlight reels
The footage is grainy, but you don’t need high-definition video to see the talent of Paso Robles High senior running back Christian Erickson.
In highlights of Erickson posted on Hudl.com, the Beast of North County shows in the first two games of the season why he is one of the most exciting football players to watch on the Central Coast.
Erickson played defense for the first time since junior varsity in Paso Robles’s first game of the season, a 35-10 win over Lemoore. All he did was collect six tackles and an interception as an outside linebacker. After the interception (seen in the video below) Erickson showed off his ability as a runner, breaking tackles on the way to a 33-yard interception return to the goal line. He also finished the game with 48 yards and a touchdown on offense.
Last Friday, in a 51-33 win over Frontier, Erickson rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns along with three catches for 48 yards, showing off his unique blend of power and ankle-breaking moves along the way.
Paso Robles and Erickson will go for three wins in a row Friday on the road against McClymonds.
