Structure fire destroys Paso Robles home, Cal Fire says
A structure fire destroyed an approximately 2,000-square-foot home Saturday night in the 4200 block of Allen Road near Lake Nacimiento.
About 7:20 p.m. Saturday, Cal Fire engines responded to a structure fire that was reported to be “well involved.”
By 9 p.m., Cal Fire spokesman Chris Elms said it was “pretty much a complete loss” and the home owner would not be able to occupy the residence again.
Elms said he did not believe the home owner was present when the fire began. The home owner had been in contact with nearby neighbors and planned to contact Red Cross, Elms said.
Firefighters were expected to stay at the scene through the night. No injures or other structure damage was reported, Elms said.
