SLO man arrested for DUI 3 times this week. Police want to know when he’s on the road again
Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a San Luis Obispo man who was arrested three times on suspicion of driving under the influence in the past week.
Iran Jimenez was first arrested for DUI on June 30 in the 300 block of Elks Lane, according to the San Luis Obispo Police Department. He was again arrested Thursday for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident after police say he collided with a parked car as he was returning to his residence on the same block of Elks Lane. And for a third time, Jimenez was arrested for DUI on Friday after he collided with another vehicle at Higuera and Bridge streets, police said.
He was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail and was still in custody Saturday on $5,000 bail. Police said no one was injured in either collision and that Jimenez is not the registered owner of the vehicle he was driving during the three arrests. The vehicle was towed.
Police said they do not know whether he has access to another vehicle and are asking the public to call 911 if they see Jimenez driving upon his eventual release.
