SLO wants public input on Laguna Lake dredging
The city of San Luis Obispo is holding a meeting next week to gather public input on the Laguna Lake Dredging and Sediment Management Project.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the multipurpose room at Laguna Middle School at 11050 Los Osos Valley Road.
City staff members and the consulting team will discuss options for the size of the proposed dredging project, as well as potential techniques and financing.
Meanwhile, the proposal goes before the Parks and Recreation Commission on Wednesday and the City Council on Sept. 20. Those hearings will take place in the council chambers at City Hall, at 990 Palm St.
