Meathead Movers collecting donations for California wildfire victims
San Luis Obispo-based Meathead Movers is collecting donations to help victims of the wildfires ravaging Northern California.
Goods can be donated from Thursday, Oct. 12, through Sunday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m.
All donations can be dropped off in the lobby of the following Meathead Movers locations:
▪ Meathead Movers Mini Storage, 3600 S. Higuera St., San Luis Obispo.
▪ Meathead Movers Mini Storage, 4744 N. El Capitan Ave., Fresno.
The donations will be taken to the Ryse Center in Richmond in Northern California, the company said.
“As dozens of fires rip through the home state of Meathead Movers, the team knew it was the perfect time to rally its loyal communities once again to help support those that have lost their homes to the devastating fires,” the company said in a news release.
The Ryse Youth Center is requesting the following items, which must be new:
▪ N95 face masks with filtration
▪ Air filters for the face masks
▪ Towels and bedding
▪ Feminine hygiene products
▪ Toothpaste and toothbrushes
▪ Toiletries
▪ Hand sanitizer
▪ Water
▪ Phone chargers and batteries
▪ Notepads and Sharpie markers
▪ Deodorant
▪ Adult and child diapers
▪ Socks
▪ Underwear
▪ Gift cards
