New wine bar and French bistro opens in Avila Beach
Blue Moon Over Avila, a new wine bar and French bistro, opened in Avila Beach on Tuesday.
The restaurant is owned by Nanci Bell and will feature dishes by Jose Dahan with a mix of traditional French, international and contemporary cuisine.
According to a news release, it will offer a seasonal rotating menu to “compliment boutique wine and beer selections.
The restaurant is located at 460 Front St. in Avila Beach, in what used to be a Del Sol retail store. It offers patio seating with views of the ocean.
It is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday; it is closed on Mondays.
Bell could not be reached on Tuesday for comment on the new business.
