New Costco with 24-pump gas station to open soon
Costco, home of giant aisles you could get lost in and free samples around nearly every corner, will open its new location in Santa Maria on Thursday.
The company decided to move from its location at 1335 S. Bradley Road to a new spot just down the road because it needed a bigger building, a Costco spokesperson said.
At 154,000 square feet, the new facility at 1700 S. Bradley Road is about 19,000 square feet larger, the spokesperson said.
The new Costco will have slightly expanded offerings, including a 24-pump gas station and a larger fresh food department. It will also have an outside food court and three hearing aid booths.
The massive Enos Ranch development that’s currently under construction will also be home to a slate of new businesses and restaurants, including Lowe’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, HomeGoods, Old Navy, Ulta, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chick-Fil-A, Urbane Café, The Habit and a Cracker Barrel, among others.
