Millennials make California a better place to live

Millennials enhance California, and I, for one, want them here.

Wow, Joni Nelson, you sound very selfish (“Maybe millennials shouldn’t be able to live in California,” June 8). Let me guess, now that you have your home, job, etc., everyone else be damned.

You seemed to have forgotten, “Give me your tired, your poor … yearning to breathe free,” on the Statue of Liberty. The California motto is “Eureka — I have found it!”

I love our variety here in California, and I wish it was affordable for all.

People like you who assume everyone gets dealt the same hand in life should perhaps walk in someone else’s shoes.
