Farmers know not all snakes are bad, including political snakes

I just read Rick Cohen’s Letter to the Editor (“Trump voters knew he was a snake,” Feb.16), and it reminded me of something well-known to ranchers and farmers: Not all snakes are bad; many times they help keep down the rat population.
