SLO County voters need to cast ballot with brains, not emotions

Kevin McReynolds says that even though he agrees with nearly everything that Dawn Ortiz-Legg stands for, he will not be voting for her, since one of her ads insulted lawyers, a group to which he apparently belongs (“Ortiz-Legg’s ad for state Assembly is insulting to lawyers,” Tribune, Sept. 22).

My, my! How thin-skinned! Not the role model America needs. I hope voters use their brains and not their emotions at the polls — it’s critical to our future.
