San Luis Obispo County is facing a chance for springtime rain alongside a wind advisory this week.

The wind advisory was issued 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon to 10 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Northwest winds will reach up to 25 mph, with gusts up to 35 mph along both the coast and inland SLO County.

Tree limbs could be blown down, and power outages may result, the forecast said.

Later Tuesday night, cloud coverage is expected to increase leading to patchy drizzle on Wednesday, according to the NWS forecast.

There will be a slight change of rain after 11 a.m., but the general forecast is partly sunny with a high of 62 degrees.

The chance of precipitation is 20% come Wednesday night, with a low of 50 degrees.

Sunny skies are set to return on Thursday and continue throughout the week with a high of 77 degrees on Sunday.
