More than 4 inches of rain fell on one SLO County spot. How much did your area get?
A rain storm that swept across the Central Coast on Monday into Tuesday brought more than an inch of rain to several spots in San Luis Obispo County.
County locations received anywhere from a 0.07 of an inch to more than 4 inches of rain in the 24-hour period ending Wednesday at 10 a.m., according to the San Luis Obispo County Department of Public Works.
Rocky Butte, a location in the mountains northeast of Cambria that’s often the wettest spot in the county in rainfall, led the way with 4.45 inches.
Areas around San Luis Obispo ranged from 1.28 inches to 2.29 inches.

More rain in SLO County’s forecast
Meanwhile, looking ahead, don’t put those umbrellas away quite yet — San Luis Obispo County is in for more rain.
The National Weather Service forecast a 30% chance of rain after 4 p.m. for San Luis Obispo on Wednesday, with the potential for more rain in the evening.
San Luis Obispo could receive up to a half inch of rain on Thursday morning and again in the evening, the Weather Service said.
Meanwhile, Paso Robles can expect a mostly dry Wednesday with a 30% chance of rain after 4 p.m. and on Thursday morning.
The Paso Robles forecast calls for a 90% chance of rain on Thursday afternoon continuing into the evening.
San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles can expect a rainy Friday morning, with the sun peeking through the clouds in the afternoon and ushering in a sunny weekend.
