If you wished for sunny weather conditions for Christmas, you’re in luck.

After a week of rain, the National Weather Service is predicting San Luis Obispo County will get four days of sunshine before the storm clouds may return.

On Friday, expect mostly sunny conditions and highs in the mid- to high 60 degrees across the county. That trend will continue through Saturday, with very similar conditions forecast by the Weather Service.

On Sunday and Christmas Day, it’s likely patchy fog could set in across the entirety of San Luis Obispo County, according to the Weather Service.

Otherwise, it’ll be sunny with a high temperature in the low 60s, the Weather Service said.

The sunshine should be back on Tuesday, with temperatures remaining in the low 60s — but the clear skies could be brief.

A chance of rain showers returns on Wednesday, according to the Weather Service. However, that could change as the date nears, the Weather Service’s latest forecast on Friday said.

“The forecast through New Year’s Day is pretty much a toss-up with a some sort of chance of rain but nothing definitive,” the Weather Service said in its Friday forecast discussion.
