108 degrees and higher: Here’s a look at the heat wave’s forecast for Paso Robles
Though it’ll certainly be warm in other parts of San Luis Obispo County, Paso Robles and inland North County cities will be the ones hardest hit by the major, weeklong heat wave sweeping across California this holiday weekend.
According to meteorologist John Lindsey, Paso Robles is on track to potentially break two heat records over Labor Day weekend; it will also likely see triple-digit temperatures every day through Sept. 7, when a National Weather Service excessive heat watch is set to expire.
“Without a doubt, this is going to be the most significant heat wave of the season so far,” Lindsey told The Tribune. “Inland areas will be sizzling hot. There’s no way to avoid that.”
