A seasonal treat is making a comeback at Krispy Kreme.

Apple Fritters returned Monday, Sept. 18, to participating Krispy Kreme shops nationwide, the Charlotte-based doughnut chain announced.

The treat — featuring apple chunks, filling, cinnamon and a sweet glaze — joins the seasonal pumpkin spice collection, which rolled out in early August. The lineup features returning fall favorites including the pumpkin spice Original Glazed doughnut and pumpkin spice coffee.

Fans of Krispy Kreme’s bakery treats can order the apple fritter, featuring real chunks of apple, for a limited time starting Sept. 18.
