SLO County police once again swarm neighborhood for Fresno case. Here’s why

The Grover Beach Police Department served a search warrant related to a Fresno retail theft case on the 200 block of Oak Park Boulevard near Brighton Avenue at 7 a.m. on May 20, 2026. A second search warrant was later served in the same area for the case on June 10, 2026.

Grover Beach police served a second search warrant in one month in relation to an out-of-county theft case Wednesday morning.

Around 8:20 a.m., the Grover Beach Police Department posted on Facebook that it was serving a search warrant in the 200 block of North Oak Park Boulevard — the same area it had served a search warrant to in May.

“We are assisting the Fresno Police Department once again,” the post said.

The agency had posted on Facebook about an earlier search warrant related to the Fresno retail theft case served on Oak Park Boulevard near Brighton Avenue — to the 200 block — at 7 a.m. on May 20.

At that time, a woman was arrested and evidence from the home was seized by the Fresno police, the post said.

Wednesday’s search warrant was related to the same case, though it is unclear if the warrants were served to the same home.

Police said the area was safe as of Wednesday morning. Officers had made contact with the occupants of the home and said they would remain on scene until a search was completed.
