A Nipomo woman died Saturday night after she was struck by a vehicle in northwest Santa Maria, according to the Santa Maria Police Department.

Just before midnight, officers responded to the collision at the intersection of Bunny Avenue and Blosser Road, said Lt. Matthew Kline.

Personnel from the Santa Maria Fire Department also responded and rendered aid to the 46-year-old woman.

However, she was pronounced deceased at the scene, Kline added.

He was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail on multiple felony charges.
