Three Los Angeles men were arrested Friday after two attempted burglaries were reported in northern San Luis Obispo County.

According to a Paso Robles Police Department news release Friday evening, police first responded to a report of an attempted residential burglary in the 100 block of Riverbank Lane.

Police were told the suspects had fled the area in a vehicle.

According to the release, officers “quickly responded to the area and stopped the vehicle occupied by three males, which matched the description.”

Through investigation, police determined the three men inside were involved in the burglary, the release said. The three were also believed to have been involved in an interrupted burglary in Atascadero earlier the same day, according to the release.

Suspected stolen property and burglary tools were located in the vehicle as well, police said.

The suspects were identified as Jorge Ayalamorales, 25; Esteban Carnedal, 21; and Brandon Guerreropineda, 24. All three were from Los Angeles, according to the release.

The trio was arrested on suspicion of charges of burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime, according to the release. They were booked at the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
