Timothy Holeman of Susanville in Lassen County, 44, was arrested in Grover Beach on June 17, 2025, for allegedly speeding in a car full of weapons and drugs.

A California man with a warrant out for his arrest and a suspended driver’s license was arrested in San Luis Obispo County on Tuesday after he was allegedly caught speeding in a car with weapons and drugs.

Officers in Grover Beach pulled over a car driving over the speed limit near West Grand Avenue and Highway 1, the Grover Beach Police Department posted on Facebook.

The driver, who was from outside of SLO County, was on probation, driving with a suspended license and had a felony extraditable warrant out of Sacramento County — meaning if he were to be arrested in SLO County, he would be transferred back to Sacramento, the Police Department said.

The car also contained a loaded gun, several knives, methamphetamine and marijuana, according to the post.

“Not exactly what we’d call a beach day survival kit!” the post read.

The driver, Timothy Holeman of Susanville in Lassen County, was arrested and transported to San Luis Obispo County Jail on suspicion of six charges and his felony warrant for a prior probation violation.

Holeman, 44, was expected to be charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of ammunition by a felon, possession of loaded firearm by a felon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of over one ounce of marijuana and having a suspended drivers license.

“Pro tip: If you’re going to speed through Grover Beach, don’t do it with a suspended license, a felony warrant and a mobile weapon-and-drug emporium in your car,” the department said on Facebook.
