Man’s face cut during fight in Dollar General parking lot, SLO County Sheriff’s Office says

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office detained a man who allegedly cut another man’s face during a fight on Friday evening.

Two men got into a fight outside of the San Miguel Dollar General store on K Street on Friday around 4:45 p.m., according to Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Tony Cipolla.

One man “sustained a cut to his face,” and he was transported to the Adventist Health Twin Cities hospital to treat his injury, Cipolla said in a statement.

The injury was not life threatening, he said.

Deputies tracked down and detained a suspect in the case. They have not yet identified him, Cipolla said.
