Women stole wallets and phones at climbing gym, then went on a shopping spree, SLO police say
Two police departments in San Luis Obispo County are searching for two women suspected of stealing cell phones and a wallet this week.
The women allegedly stole phones and wallets from The Pad climbing gym in San Luis Obispo on Tuesday, the San Luis Obispo Police Department said in a Facebook post on Thursday.
“The woman in the tan hoodie was actively attempting to conceal her face from the gym’s security cameras,” the Facebook post said.
Police said that the women then used credit cards from the wallets at the Nordstrom Rack store in the SLO Promenade.
They drove a dark gray Jeep Grand Cherokee with out-of-state license plates, police said.
The Grover Beach Police Department posted on Facebook that they were searching for the same suspects on Thursday.
