SLO County middle school locked down for threat — again
Templeton Middle School went into lockdown Tuesday for the second day in a row, after it received a similar threat as it did Monday, San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Tony Cipolla told the Tribune in an email.
Cipolla said the shelter in place lasted less than an hour, and believes the threat was “the work of the same person” as Monday’s threat.
The middle school briefly went into lockdown Monday after teachers learned of an unspecified threat against the school.
On Tuesday, Sheriff’s Office deputies searched the school and once again found the threat was not credible. Deputies stayed at the school as a precautionary measure.
The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the incident.
