A juvenile suffered major injuries early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Arroyo Grande, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident occurred at 12:34 a.m. at Los Berros Road and Falcon Crest Drive, according to the CHP’s traffic incident website.

An ambulance and tow truck also responded.

Authorities stated they’ll seek charges alleging misdemeanor hit-and-run for one driver, who abandoned their car.

The CHP cleared the scene at 1:56 a.m.
