SLO County traffic stop turns into drug bust as deputies find cache of meth worth $30,000

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a driver during a routine traffic stop in Pismo Beach on Thursday when they discovered bags of suspected methamphetamine valued at $30,000 and other drugs in her car, according to a news release from the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department.

During the stop near the 400 block of S. Dolliver Street, the deputies also found about 5 grams of suspected heroin, nearly 6 grams of suspected marijuana, a digital scale, cash, baggies and numerous pieces of illegal narcotics paraphernalia.

Audryanna Gibbens, 41, of Pismo Beach was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for sale and transportation of methamphetamine for sale. Gibbens was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail.
